All those years of dreading teenage-hood... and it turns out it’s (so far) not so bad after all. 💛 I’ve been a huge fan of the @sansceuticals natural skin and hair care products since I first discovered the brand when I was pregnant with Wilkie. (The Body+Hair+Face oil is one of my favourite-ever beauty products on my bathroom shelf!) This Christmas, Sans is offering a collection of festive Furoshiki gift sets, wrapped up in a pretty linen cloth and ready to be set under the tree. I love that all of the packaging is sustainable down to the reusable linen wrapping.
@sansceuticals is now offering followers a super generous $15 off the gift sets and any other full-size products with code COURTNEY15. Treat yourself or any of your friends or family (but mostly yourself - you deserve it!)! 🎄 #sponsored Post-surf Sunday smiles 🥰🥰 Our little home is featured in this month’s issue of @dominomag, and up on their website as of yesterday! When asked what it’s like having five kids in a small house, this was my answer: “I love that at any given time in our house, there is a tower being built, food being cooked, tutus being twirled, art being crafted, music on, people laughing, someone crying, and sometimes all of it at once. A busy home is all I’ve ever known.” 💓 Thanks for the feature, Domino, and thanks for the photos @natmccomas. For the last year, Easton has been working on his big year 8 school project. They got to choose something to create, and he chose to make a coffee table photobook on the surfers of Byron. He interviewed more than 20 iconic Byron surfers (young, old, men, women, short boarders and long boarders and everything in between!). He took their photos both in the surf and out and he wrote down their stories. He also took photos of Byron, the waves and the surf culture here. The book turned out so well! 💛They presented their projects last week and as I stood there in the hall listening to him speaking on stage my mama heart was bursting with pride. He was so nervous to give his speech, but then he walked up onto stage and spoke so confidently and effortlessly. He’s grown a lot through this project and it has been such a joy to witness. 💛 The live tree we bought last year for our Christmas tree sadly didn’t survive the scorching hot summer. So this year we searched for another sustainable tree option and found @demelzahilldesign (who I met through my e-course this year!) and her beautiful wooden trees made from sustainably sourced maple. It won’t drop needles, it won’t dry out, and we’ll be able to reuse it year after year. 🎄 Now I just need to train a puppy not to bite and yank the Christmas stockings from the mantle! 🤪
